I feel like because Louis has been through stardom and the cruelties of xfactor and poor management, he is able to reach out to young talents such as these to such an emotional level. He is so patient and kind to them all, giving actual constructive criticism which also complimenting them. He doesn’t want to seem like the bigger guy with more experience and fame; he just wants to help them have fun in the moment and help them achieve whatever they can. He insists on “cuddling” them, on complimenting them, on making them laugh, because he knows how harsh and mean the world can be. He wants to let them know they are loved and appreciated to help prevent them from going through the mental burdens he, the 1D boys and many other celebrities go through. That is why Louis is amazing and so loved. Because he is so so selfless, to everyone around him, including strangers and his fans. Even when he isn’t doing great mentally or emotionally, he still tries to make people laugh and enjoy life.

Taimur Nisar basically the guy performing, anthony russell, tried out on the x factor a few years ago and came in with a black eye. louis contacted anthony and his family and offered him the help he needed at the time from drug addiction. and anthony came back a year later to retry out:)

Louis as a judge is the sweetest 🥹 he knows how it feels to be in their shoes and how hard it is. Seeing him constantly encourage them and genuinely compliment each of their strengths is precious. And Liam’s genuine smile and the way he listens to each performance so intently with his whole heart is beautiful. 1D was so perfect and so different from the rest of the industry because they started out as just 5 normal guys who had talent and someone believed in their talent and took a chance on them - that’s why all 5 of them are still so humble and kind. I love these boys so so much. Rest in eternal peace Liam, we’ll miss you forever 💔
