I couldn't understand how 400 sponsors could make the same move.
And it didn't feel human to unsubscribe and renew the same date.
This is because cancellation and renewal are virtually meaningless.
So for a while, I wondered if there was a trick to Patreon's statistics method.
Then, this time, I found the answer.
About 1,600 people pay by card, and about 400 people use PayPal.
I don't know how PayPal and Patreon's payment system are linked, but there is currently no way to explain the movement of the graph other than this.
So, the LP has 2,000 regular customers, not 1,600, and the LP is earning an average of $7,700 per month.

This is why LP badmouths his sponsors, tries to block them, repeats lies every year, and delays the story without speeding things up.
Sponsors have to talk to LP, there is no other way.

You're reading this wrong. The $7,200 are from December 2019, which was the last time L&P displayed his monthly income on Patreon. That was back when he had roughly 900 patrons.
There's also zero indicator as to which payment method anyone is using. It's just that at current, roughly 1600 patrons are supporting him continuously, while others only pledge for a month. Then there's those who drop out entirely and also new supporters.
The graph on the left shows his income from August 2019, while the right one is from December 2019.
We can't see how much L&P is earning every month. Those numbers are old and chances are he's earning twice as much considering he's doubled his patrons since then. The only indicator, which is kinda worthless, can be seen at the very top right on graphtreon, and you can be sure that he's on the higher end of that estimate, if not higher.

First, Patreon's payment methods include card and PayPal, and the ratio is 7:3.
This ratio is similar to the graph of LP.
Second, I only looked at the payout per partron and the number of partrons.
I didn't look at monthly income.
My guess at $7,700 was due to the number of partrons and the amount paid.
Thirdly, it is not possible to explain why there are two graphs without this reasoning.
Since this is simply speculation, I know I could be wrong at any time.
But I hope you'll give a better interpretation than me, rather than just saying "wrong".
And your explanation cannot explain the movement of 400 people as I mentioned.

He does not want to hire anyone.
He pretends he wants to, every year, to appease patrons. And some gullible ones still believe him.

I don't know what you don't understand about the monthly drop, but I literally explained it. The majority of patrons support continuously while a couple hundred drop out after a month, either renewing their pledge at some point, new people coming in or whatever.
Weather the payment method is 7:3 like you said doesn't matter though, does it? Your estimate of $7,700 a month also falls flat as all the numbers for monthly income available go back to December 2019.
That's nice and all, but still doesn't change the fact that the numbers you provided are from August 2019 and December 2019 respectively. No matter what you change on the graph (monthly, yearly, all time), the numbers shown will still sit at the last known, which like I said are from 2019. Graphtreon simply cannot be accurate except for the number of patrons a creator has unless they decide to display their monthly income, which L&P doesn't.
I think there is no point speculating how much L&P is earning.
We all realize that he earn quite a lot of money and more posts about it just spam this thread.

You don't seem to be looking at the graph.
The graph is being updated from time to time and there is information as of April 19, 2023.
And everyone pays monthly.
It is impossible to tell the graph between, one person making 10 automatic payments each month and 10 people paying only once for 10 months.
But the graph is divided based on 1600.
To say that 400 people disappear and reappear every month or that they cancel and repurchase is not persuasive to me.
This is impossible unless it is a specific group, and even if it is a specific group, it is very stupid.
Rather, I think my words that 400 PayPal users are more persuasive.

I think it makes meaning.
If LP making $7,700 per month, that's a big income and you can guess the reason and truth behind LP's words and actions.
And this money can surmise that LP has been lying for quite some time.

More income could also mean, more taxes. If L&P isn't running his gig through a corporation then he will pay more in taxes.

He's already done that & it's early May, after another ker-ching day. Anything sooner would be a big surprise.
How very surprising - NOT! No matter how often we predict his moves near exactly, a lot of people here do not wise up or are white knighting for him. But it is fun to a certain degree to watch this trainwreck in slow motion.
